El otro día me contaron el siguiente chiste:

ESL teacher: You must never begin a sentence «I is …».
Clever student: Please sir, what’s wrong with «I is a vowel».

¡Suerte!

a) I have 32 years. (I have 32 years old).
b) I am 32 years old (I am 32.)

a) Many people is visiting Costa Rica these days.
b) Many people are visiting Costa Rica these days.

a) One thousand dollars are a large sum of money.
b) One thousand dollars is a large sum of money.

a) Two-people sports is my hobby.
b) Two-people sports are my hobby.

a) Is raining again.
b) It’s raining again.

a) Neither they nor I are to blame for this serious mistake.
b) Neither they nor I am to blame for this serious mistake.

a) My grandmother lived to ninety-five.
b) My grandmother lived to be ninety-five.

a) If I was rich, I would buy a castle in france
b) If I were rich, I would buy a castle in France.

a) More than one convict were sentenced to death in that country.
b) More than one convict was sentenced to death in that country.

¿Qué tal te ha ido? ¿Lo has encontrado difícil?
